I've seen Umphrey's 4 times now and they've been very good at their worst and other worldy and mind-blowing at their best. Although I didn't attend this particular show, this show is amazing to listen to. I'm not sure they've put together a better set list combined with flawless performance as in this show. Great recording. oh yeah, and...KRIS MYERS IS F'ING INCREDIBLE.

Was mesmerized by this show. Had to listen to it 3 times in a row before I could move on. Just incredible.

What a beautiful day this was in illinois. This was one of the best shows in 2004. Just insane jammin thru out this entire performance. Excelent matrix recording makes this a must download for all Mcgeeks out there. The second set is stellar, makes me sweat just listen to it. Get it now!

not much to add.. :)
Well I do realize that this show is well-reviewed already, but allow me to take a second to point out some things I particularly love about it:
1) the unusual "metal" rendition of Uncle Wally (usually a mellow acoustic song)
2) the unusual "lounge-y" rendition of Nopener (usually a metal-ish song, heh)
3) The JaJunk/Padgett's Profile sandwich in the second set is just OFF THE HOOK and well worth the download alone already.
This show is for you, no matter whether you're an Umphreak or not. Go for it!
(oh yes, if you dig the jams in the second set, you totally need to get 2004-02-21 as well)
Which of these shows was the free Barn set, after the storm came through and all the music was cancelled for the day, except for Umphrey's midnight set?

This show rocks. It is by far the best Umphreys show i have heard yet. The sound is great and so is the band. The set list is also awesome. I love triple wide. Get this show for sure. It is worth it.

damn this is some hot shioot
Not much more can be said then the fact that many people missed out on this show because of Moe.'s Summer 'Tornado' Camp, which a everyone had to evacuate and did not get word that the boys were throwin down. But hey, good vibes a great crew and a kick ass band put it back together for those who were ready to get down that night. This show is sick and a must have fur shizzel, pure magic and some great guests. UM is going places and this is there to prove it. If you're and Umphreak or just browsing, dont look any further than this show. Enjoy and spread the love. -ashi
